English is increasingly growing as the first spoken foreign language all over the world. We find English everywhere in our daily lives -not only in new technologies, but also in social networks, TV series and music.

At Escola Assís, we aim to contribute to our students’ success and we strive to make the English language a tool for communication and interaction. To this end, one of our most recognised projects is the English Week.

The English Week represents an approach to English culture and students from PRI5-6 to ESO4 prepare outdoor games, board games, theatre plays, nursery songs and handicrafts for younger students in Nursery and in Primary school. Our families contribute with storytelling and we all have fun… in English!
